Popis: | Computing time in finite-difference time-domain can be saved by expressing a portion of the grid (macromodel) as an linear time invariant (LTI) system. The output then becomes a convolution of the input with the LTI impulse response. To achieve a constant time for the convolution, the macromodel's response is expressed as a superposition of eigenmodal frequencies. That time is reduced by discarding nonessential eigenmodes. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J RF and Microwave CAE, 2007. |
