Popis: | Date Presented Accepted for AOTA INSPIRE 2021 but unable to be presented due to online event limitations. Up to 87% of individuals in intensive care units (ICUs) are at risk of developing delirium (American Psychiatric Association, 2013). OT is a skilled service that has been shown to help prevent and decrease the severity of delirium (lvarez et al., 2017). However, OT practitioners are not always welcome within ICUs to treat this population. OTs were surveyed to identify the factors influencing the OT presence in the management of ICU delirium.
