Popis:	A novel o-benzoquinol, named 2-acetonyl-3-methoxy-5-[4-methoxyphenethyl]-o-benzoquinol (1), and a new bibenzyl, named (S)-3,4,α-trihydroxy-5,4′-dimethoxybibenzyl (2), were isolated from the stems of Dendrobium candidum. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of comprehensive spectroscopic analysis. Both of the compounds were assayed for cytotoxic activities by the MTT test, and antioxidant activities by the DPPH free radical scavenging assay in vitro.
