Popis: | In this study, capability of exploiting two orthogonal polarizations for mm-Wave communication was analyzed. Two orthogonal polarizations could be used for independent transfer of two data streams that increases channel capacity and improves system reliability. For this purpose, 60- GHz channel measurements have been carried out in a typical cubicle office and the impact of the antenna polarization on channel characteristics has been addressed. It was concluded that despite there are some variances in propagation of orthogonally polarized electromagnetic waves, both of them could be used for mm-Wave communications. |
