Popis: The effect of the structure in bulk of polyformaldehyde (PFA) obtained by industrial processing methods on the mechanical properties under tension has been investigated. It has been established that a change in the spherulitic and superspherulitic structure of PFA in bulk has a considerable effect on the strain at rupture for the polymer in the temperature region −40 to 120°C. It has been shown that the properties exhibited during extension within the range of elastic strain and durinf flow do not depend on the characteristics of the PFA supermolecular structure.
