Modification of PEDOT:PSS Layer Properties by SWCNT and Ag Nanoparticles

Popis: | 38th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition; 72-75 Conductive and transparent PEDOT:PSS-based composites with carbon nanotubes and silver nanoparticles have been prepared on a flat Si surface using the simplest technologies of layer-by-layer deposition, photochemical growth and spin-coating. From analysis of optical parameters it was obtained that these composite films in the spectral region of Si photosensitivity reveal high transmittance of light into Si substrate. Together with electrical DC conductivity investigations using a 4-point probe method, unambiguously it was observed that introduction of silver nanoparticles into the composite increases the plasma frequency of free carriers Ep of the film as a whole and film conductivity. Solar cells have been manufactured on a flat Si surface with these heterostructures. The introduction of metal nanoparticles (Ag) and SWCNT increases the efficiency of photoconversion in PEDOT:PSS/Si heterostructures by reducing the series resistance and increasing the fill factor of solar cells. |
