Popis: | Surface tension measurements were made for several organic solutions with limited mutual solubilities by the pendant drop method. Both liquid-air and liquid-liquid surface tension values are reported. For those liquids where previous measurements have been made by other techniques, comparisons are given and discussed. In addition, simple models which have been used to relate the liquid-air surface tensions to the liquid-liquid surface tensions are employed to analyze the results. |
