To meet the needs of next generation military aircraft, the support services workloads similar among four western test and training ranges were consolidated as part of the J-Tech Program. Under this enterprise-wide contract, the Government partners with private industry, facilitating the placement of innovative technical and program management initiatives. These initiatives include contractor incentives through a new combined award fee and award term arrangement, centralized management through an integrated program management office, unprecedented partnership with the program contractor, and objective performance measurement. As a result, there is less duplication, a significant improvement in range interoperability, and the provision for more realistic, higher fidelity training for the Warfighter. |
