Popis: | The radiosensitivity as determined for the “ m targets—1 hit” model, not including recovery, equals the function a of hitting the targets. Here we consider the value of this parameter when recovery of the targets hit is included in this model. A numerical study for values of 2⩽ m ⩽ 10 shows that radiosensitivity λ 1 can then be approximated by the expression λ 1 = aBe − Cm , where B and C are functions only α/a, the ration of probabilities of recovery and hit. |
