Popis: | The beam scanner at the University of Manitoba Cyclotron Facility is a device which images the position of a cyclotron proton beam using a rapidly rotating wire. The paper reports that the scanner will also give a profile of a neutral beam of low‐energy deuterium particles and describes the application of the scanner to measure the emittance at the accelerated cyclotron beam. |
