Popis: | The attitudes of health care workers can affect the incidence as well as the quality of the breastfeeding experience for the mother and her infant while in the hospital. Attitudes are communicated very easily to patients. Health care workers need to examine their own attitudes as well as methods to collect breastfeeding data, hospital policies, teaching programs and environments when evaluating breastfeeding in a unit or hospital. Positive attitudes may strongly influence the initiation and the duration of breast feeding for women. |
