Popis: Wool copper and zinc concentrations were analysed in samples of wool clipped every 28 days from Romney sheep grazing at two stocking rates. Wool copper was depressed in the samples grown during July just before lambing (P < 0.05). No effect of stocking rate, age of ewe, or litter size could be established. Differences between sheep within treatments (P < 0.001) were marked Wool zinc was depressed by increased stocking rate (P < 0.05), a!1d the onset of wmter and/or pregnancy (P < 0.001). Older ewes had higher mean wool zinc values (P < 0.05). No between-sheep differences or effect of litter size could be established.
