For over 40 years the photovoltaic system has been becoming a significant source in the world in order to meet the energy requirements, this system has an important controller to extract the maximum power from the PV generator that is called Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), this MPPT controller is based on an algorithm to achieve this purpose. Many MPPT Algorithms have been reported in literature: direct control, indirect control and intelligent control. Although Conventional MPPT Algorithms are able to adapt to DC-DC converter feeding the load profile and extracting the maximum power, they provide some drawbacks such as the oscillation around the Power Peak and low efficiency. To solve this problem, the variable Step Size technique created from such as fuzzy logic, adaptive algorithm and PID controller are used to improve their performances. This paper is proposed to studying Perturbation & Observation and Incremental conductance methods in order to weaken the steady state oscillation and to increase the tracking speed under different weather conditions. |
