Popis: | The purpose of the article is to present a research model for assessing rehabilitation needs of elderly American Indians who are visually impaired or blind and living on reservations. The article describes the research design, methodology, andfindings of a recent study which assessed the rehabilitation needs of the elderly American Indians who were visually impaired or blind and living on the Hualapai reservation in Arizona. The article includes a review of literature as regards the elderly American Indians in order to emphasize the need/or assessing rehabilitation needs of those who are visually impaired or blind among them. |
