Preregistration of a research article on the association of prenatal SSRI exposure and brain morphology: a population-based longitudinal structural MRI study. The serotonergic system (under the influence of genetics and potentially prenatal exposure to serotonin reuptake inhibitors) could affect later life behaviour and cognition, but the underlying (neuro)developmental processes remain to be clarified. For this purpose, we will use questionnaires, records and neuroimaging data of a population birth cohort “the Generation R Study”. |
