Popis: The paper is concerned with the analysis of radiative-convective heat transfer of an axisymmetric blunt body in a hypersonic air flow. The results of calculation of radiative and convective heat fluxes to the ablating graphite surface are presented. The effect of allowance for radiation transfer on the predicted radiative heat flux is shown. A quantitative assessment is made of the tendency of heat fluxes directed to a reflecting surface to increase due to absorption of reflected radiation in a compressed layer.
