Popis:	A novel antenna suitable for mobile telephone application is presented. This is a backfire-fed, dielectric-loaded twisted loop antenna, that is designed to minimise the fields that are incident on the user's head. Broadband response is also demonstrated for use in mobile handsets where greater bandwidth is essential.
