It involves the sequencing of ribosome-protected mRNA fragments to determine the positions of ribosomes on transcripts. This information can be used to infer translation rates and identify translated open reading frames. While traditional ribosome profiling methods can be time-consuming and expensive, our method is rapid and cost-effective, and the inclusion of UMIs allows for precise quantification. |
