The ice-shelf in the neighbourhood of Halley Bay

Popis:	Observations of the nature of the ice-shelf and measurements of accumulation are given and compared with similar observations at Base, with special attention to investigations of a small ice-hill to the east-north-east of Base. The conclusion drawn is that to the east-northeast the ice-shelf is grounded, at least partially, but to the south it is floating. The ‘Dawson-Lambton glacier’ is taken to be the true coastline and the ‘Allan McDonald glacier’ to have no existence.
