Audio Hiding in an Image Using Steganographic Methods

Popis: Security is the most significant aspect in today's world of data. Any data has its own privacy degree which is the verge of peril signalling an alarming threat to the digital sphere. Many security techniques are emerging from time to time. From water-marking to cryptography all have helped in solving breaches in security to certain extent. Cryptography also has its own drawbacks which are overcome in steganography. It is a method where data of any type like audio, video, text etc. are hidden inside an image or any other file type. In our paper, a two-dimensional colour image is chosen as the cover media. The secret audio message is embedded in the cover media to generate a stego-object. The implementation carried out here will give a clear understanding on how LSB stands out best from other algorithms such as Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and other techniques while hiding an audio file inside an image.
