Popis: Sipunculans collected by the ‘MD 32’ expedition to Reunion Island from depths ranging from 0 to 3520 m are recorded. Seventeen species in nine genera are recognized; four of them, Nephasoma constrictum, Phascolion caupo, Apionsoma capitatum and Aspidosiphon mexicanus, have not been recorded hitherto from the Indian Ocean. Significant morphological characters are described and illustrated. Small, juvenile forms are included in the collection: these exhibit numerous tiny papillae over their integument, which is interpreted as being a constant character of recently settled juveniles.
