Popis: The First World War elicited various responses from the Wilson administration based on Pan Americanism, a conception of regional integration under U.S. leadership that calls for more political cooperation and greater trade and investment. The first goal failed, but the second succeeded, making the U.S. the dominant economic presence in the Americas.
