Popis:	The 3-dimensional structure of the surface protein of Clostridium thermosaccharolyticum has been determined to a resolution of approx. 1.5 nm by electron microscopy. Reconstructions were performed with reassembled sheets, apparently identical in their molecular organization to the native S-layer sheets. The 3-dimensional structure is compared with that of other tetragonal bacterial surface layers.
