Popis: The banana is one of the most important components in the economy and food guarantee, mainly in countries with fragile economies. In Peru, itsimportance lies in being a valuable food source for the consumer and one important factor of food guarantee for the producer and his family. Itpreviewed the arthropod fauna associated withthe banana crop, Musa paradisiacaL., seda variety, in two towns: Villa Salvación and the village of Mansilla, both placed in the district and province of Manu, Madre de Dios region. The collection of insects has been made periodically between Octoberand Decemberof 2019, directly from the crop, with the use of entomological networks, pitfall traps,and Malaise traps. The specimens were identified and deposited in the Entomological Collectionof Cusco (CEUC-UNSAAC), in the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the National University of San Antonio Abad of Cusco. It collected 340 individuals identified in 6 orders, 16 families,and 32 genders.
