Popis: A synthetic route to obtain compounds with two different heterocycles, such as isoxazole and tetrazole rings, in the same molecule from carbohydrate derivatives using 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition is described. The new compounds involved in this synthesis are physically and spectroscopically characterized.
