Popis:	4-Hydroxy-l, 6, 7-trimethylpteridine-2(1H)-thione reacts with hydrazine to yield 4-amino-5-hydrazino-1, 2, 4-triazole-3-thiol and 2-hydrazino-1, 6, 7-trimethylpteridin-4(1H)-one which is subsequently transformed to 2, 2'-hydrazobis[l, 6, 7-trimethylpteridin-4(1H)-one]. Mechanisms are discussed in terms of substituent effects on the pyrimidine ring.
