Popis: | The human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is produced by cyto- and syncytiotrophoblast of human placenta (Yoshimoto et al., 1977) and by malignant tumors (Rosen et al., 1975; Vaitukaitis et al., 1976; Root et al., 1968; Becker et al., 1968). Recently, hCG-like material has been reported to be also in bacteria (Wuerthele-Caspe et al., 1974; Cohen and Strampp, 1976), normal human testis (Braunstein et al., 1975), pituitary gland (Chen et al., 1976; Robertson et al., 1978), liver and colon (Yoshimoto et al., 1977), and kidney, lung, ovary, pancreas, and spleen (Braunstein et al., 1978). |
