| Popis: | The Wu–Mendel approach for linguistic summarization (LS) using IF–THEN rules is analyzed in this paper from a practical-implementation point of view. Several practical considerations on the Wu–Mendel approach are presented in this paper, and three practical solutions are proposed in order to enhance the efficiency of the approach, namely to reduce the processing time and memory usage in LS. The proposed solutions have been verified by carrying out the corresponding experimental analysis. The scripts created and implemented during the experimental verification process are made publicly available and provided with the tutorial. |
