Popis:	A survey of the chemistry of uranium and plutonium in anhydrous acetic acid has shown that the oxidation states U(III), U(IV), Pu(III), Pu(IV), and Pu(VI) are reasonably stable in this medium. Visible spectra are presented and a number of reactions and equilibria involving these oxidation states in anhydrous acetic acid are reported.
