Popis: | The X-ray absorption spectroscopy (EXAFS) technique is used for studying the local environment of the metal in stage-2 graphite intercalation compounds (GICs)–MeCl 2 (Me=Ni, Co) and in the products of reaction of these compounds with bromine fluorides. The replacement of chloride ions in the environment of the metal ion by fluoride ions during the reaction is shown. |
