π-Complexes derived from the anhydride, amide, and esters of 3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid

Popis:	It is shown that the anhydride, the amide, and the esters of 3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid all give highly coloured π-complexes with a variety of polycyclic aromatic and heterocyclic compounds. The complexes derived from the anhydride contain one molecule of the anhydride to two molecules of the electron-donor, whilst the others are of the 1 : 1 type.
