Popis: | The PbS quantum dots doped into fiber core as the gain medium has not been proposed. In this study, we change PbS quantum dots concentration and fiber length to identify the strongest fluorescence. Using 793nm semiconductor laser as pump light and 976nm semiconductor laser as signal light, the gains and saturation powers are measured. Experimental results show that this PbS quantum dot optical fiber at pump power of 1.9W, concentration of 1.57 × 1023QDs/m3, length of 1.5cm case can reach the fiber amplifier gain 1.72 dB/cm. |
