Popis:	RCH2X, s-C4H9X, and C6H5X were methoxycarbonylated with carbon monoxide and methanol into methyl carboxylates in the presence of rhodium trichloride/potassium iodide supported on activated charcoal. The reactivity decreased in the order: X = I > Br > Cl.
