We conducted a scoping review of the published and gray literature to identify emerging evidence on the effectiveness, feasibility, and acceptability of private pharmacy-delivered HIV services in SSA to highlight gaps in the literature and to outline a future research agenda. We opted to conduct a scoping review, rather than a systematic review, because our primary objective was to identify the available evidence on this nascent HIV DSD model, not to appraise and synthesize evidence for the purpose of informing practice and policy. |
