Popis:	The synthesis of 4-(3-indolyl)-oxazol-2-one including two electrochemical pathways is described. This compound, possessing both indole and oxazol-2-one moieties is expected to be an efficient protein kinase C inhibitor and to exhibit a vasorelaxant effect on smooth muscle.
