Popis: | The nature of the molecular dynamo associated with the cation of ferrocenium hexafluorophosphate is probed with solid-state 2 H NMR, 57 Fe Mosbauer, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. At room temperature [Fe-(C 5 H 5 ) 2 ]PFa crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2 1 /c which at 299 K has a=13.408 (6) A, b=9.530 (2) A, c=9.482 (2) A, β=93.17 (3) o , z=4, and d calc =1.818 g cm -3 . Least-squares refinement with 1429 observed reflections led to R=0.067 and R w =0.085 |
