This review propose to assess one of the strategies to improve cryopreservation of gonadal tissues (either ovarian or testicle). This technique is important in as when pre-pubertal human patients begin gonadotoxic treatments (example, in cancer cases), patients that will begin cancer treatment immediately or that have hormone sensitive tumors and can not cryopreserve oocytes. In this sense, advances on research that can answer not only if, but which antioxidant would be more itneresting to use in tissue cryopreservation, can help at the development of new strategies in improvement of ovarian and/or testicle tissues cryopreservation and thus, to preserve fertility of patients that need to use this strategy. |
