The article analyzes the features of the criminal responsibility of minors and punishments for them in the Soviet criminal legislation. The author came to the conclusion that in the Soviet period of our history, crim- inal legislation in this matter developed inconsistently, since there were periods of the prevalence of punitive measures of criminal law over edu- cational ones, however, the Soviet legislator gradually followed the path of humanizing the system of punishment for juvenile criminals and mitigating criminal liability for them. |
