Popis: Recently, a new impinging - jet reactor system has been developed for the ultra-rapid pyrolysis (Ultrapyrolysis) of particulate carbonaceous materials. High heat transfer rates of the feedstock are achieved by rapid uniform mixing with a particulate solid heat carrier. Results obtained in a cold testing unit indicated that the system performed effectively over a wide range of conditions. A new accurate sampling system based on isokinetic probes and reverse-flow mini-cyclones has been developed to investigate small scale solids mixing.
