Popis: | The using of laser spectroscopy methods are proposed for diagnosis of diabetes through the measurements of acetone concentration in respiratory air. Detection of acetone concentration was performed with laser spectrometer operating in the 3 microns spectral range. Minimal detectable concentrations were found. Acetone components in expired lung air of diabetics (for adult as well as juvenile patients) are detectable by absorption spectra measurements in single pass 1m-length cell. Digital smoothing and other methods were used to improve signal to noise ratio. |
