Energy spectra of the strictly periodic superlattice (SL) based on the gapped graphene are studied. Evaluations are carried out using the transfer matrix method within the framework of the continuum model. The nature of the one-dimensional rectangular potential barriers is electrostatic. We show that the widest gaps may be either the Dirac or the Bragg ones depending on the values of the SL parameters. The dependence of the spectra investigated on the SL geometry is analyzed. Results obtained allows for controlling the energy spectra of the graphene-based superlattices and may be useful for operating the nanoelectronic devices. |
