Popis:	Monolithically integrated 4×4 semiconductor laser amplifier gate switch arrays comprising twenty-four integrated laser amplifiers have been fabricated and evaluated. We report observation of net positive optical gain between fibres, high extinction ratio, and low crosstalk.
