| Popis: | The article presents the relevance of the processes of development and expansion of information space on the settlement level. Methodical approaches to the analysis and evaluation of information resources character-izing the state and development trends of modern urban settlements are reflected. Expediency of formation of the concept of strategic development of the city settlement on the basis of official information resources is proved. The article presents the dynamics and comparative assessment of the position of the city of Rostov-on-Don - the capital of the Southern federal district on a number of important indicators of demographic and socio-labor spheres, relative to the cities of millions of Russia and the capitals of the regions that are part of the Southern federal district. |
