Popis: | In this chapter we introduce the basic methods of electroanalysis that utilize electrochemical reactions at the interface between the solution to be analyzed and different electrodes. Potentiometry, i. e., 7 equilibrium measurements with negligible current is discussed in detail, especially the newer developments of ion-selective electrodes. Experiments that involve charge transfer across the interface are discussed as well, to provide an overview of the most established electroanalytical methods and sensors, comprising constant potential, swept potential, and constant current in quiet solutions or with forced mass transfer. |
