Popis:	Objective: Description of the syndrome of inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone preceding diagnosis of pancreatic cancer by almost 3 years. Design: A single patient case report. Setting: Departments of medicine and gastroenterology in a district general hospital. Intervention: Water restriction, hypertonic saline, demethylchlortetracycline. Outcome: Patient died from pancreatic carcinoma and hepatic metastases. Conclusion: Syndrome of inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone may precede the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer
