Notes on the Biology of Orophila campaspe (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae: Biblidinae) in Colombia

Popis:	In the present article, the biology, external morphology of the immature stages and variation in adult phenotypes of the butterfly Orophila campaspe (Hewitson) are described. The food plant is Weinmannia tomentosa L.f. (Cunoniaceae). Larvae were observed and collected in the Eastern Cordillera, north of Bogota, Colombia and reared in the laboratory. The results are discussed and comparisons made with other species of the subtribe Callicorina.
