Popis: Slowing down climate change by lowering emissions in NJ
The US is falling behind Europe when it comes to climate change. There have been attempts to bring down anthropogenic gases in the US but few have been effective at providing a complete solution. California just recently voted to continue their plan of reducing emissions called the “Climate Change Scoping Plan”. This plan will try to reduce 15% of their current emission levels by 2020. Besides California there have been no aggressive attempts at halting climate change in the US. In order to hinder climate change all 50 states must be in agreement to move towards greener energy. Our proposal is to send NJ’s government a proposition that will reduce emissions in NJ and follow in the footsteps of California. One more state that will invest in greener emissions is one step closer to a country becoming CO2 independent.
