Popis: | A new polymer, poly(1,3,4-oxadiazole-2,5-diyl-ethenyl-1,4-phenylene), was obtained from p -phenylenediacrylic acid and hydrazine sulphate in methanesulphonic acid containing P 2 O 5 . The all- trans configuration of the double bonds and the chemical structure of the polymer were proved using model compounds. Chemical and electrochemical doping experiments show lower oxidation ability of the polymer compared with polyphenylenevinylene. Upon pyrolysis (2800°), the polymer yields a material with conductivity of 166 S/cm. |
