Popis: | A method for the fast simulation of particle showers in the HI lead/scintillating-fiber calorimeter is presented. The method uses a shower library technique in which the detector response is simulated based on a collection of stored showers for different particle types. The library is created using the GEANT programme. The fast simulation is compared to the data collected by the HI experiment. |
