Popis: | In terminal-collaborated multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) reception, a base station transmits multiple signal streams to a virtual terminal with a large number of reception antennas. The virtual terminal consists of multiple mobile terminals sharing their signals with other terminals. As the number of terminals increases, the performance of terminalcollaborated MIMO reception improves. However, the overhead for inter-terminal communication also increases. If the optimum set of collaborated terminals is selected, it is possible to improve the performance of terminal-collaborated MIMO reception and reduce the aforementioned overhead. In this study, adaptive terminal selection schemes were examined using actual received signals previously stored during outdoor experiments. |
